Seeing Red Fishing Charters
Seeing Red Charters is a light tackle fishing charter focusing on sight fishing the world famous flats of Mosquito Lagoon and the Northern Indian River Lagoon. Arguably the best place to sight fish for redfish in the state of Florida, the Mosquito Lagoon is nestled between the Canaveral National Seashore, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and NASA making it one of the last and largest undeveloped areas on the east coast of Florida. Endless miles of pristine shallow water grass flats over a white sand bottom and clear water make the Mosquito Lagoon the perfect place to ride on the bow of our skiff as we stalk the schools and tailing redfish that the Lagoon is famous for. Come along on a magic carpet ride as Capt. Eric pushes you across this skinny water paradise where is always something new to see from dolphins and manatee to osprey, eagles and pelicans and of course Redfish!!
Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge (where Capt. Eric is one of the few captains with a permit to guide), is not only a great place to fish but it is also full of wildlife whitetail deer, wild hogs and turkeys are frequently seen and raccoons are a daily occurrence as they feed along the shoreline and boat ramps. If you are planning a trip to the Space Coast from out of state or just day tripping from Orlando you wont run out of things to do after you fish with us Kennedy Space Center, and the famous beaches of Daytona and Cocoa are nearby as is our favorite New Smyrna Beach where the non fishermen in the group can relax and have fun while your out fishing.
Give us a call today and let’s start planning your next adventure. Capt. Eric’s goal is to provide a fun and memorable experience for anyone that steps on his boat. Hope to see you soon
