As we continued to do this, and as we started and continued to evolve our business, we were hearing the same challenges from financial advisors.<\/p>\n<p>This is really great, but hard to apply at scale: I get this one-off advice and this is tailored to a particular client, I\u2019ve described everything, but it\u2019s hard to apply this at scale in my practice.<\/p>\n<p>A lot of FA\u2019s have anywhere between 50 and 200 clients, and we started thinking about ways to scale that tailored experience that FA\u2019s could deliver to their clients.<\/p>\n<p>And where we landed was at a survey or an assessment type tool that would generate tailored results and reports that the advisors could then use to facilitate better conversations with each individual client.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>So, the idea was to create a survey that clients can take. Not only for the client, but also for the advisor. We generate two reports for each survey:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>one that provides tailored advice that the FA can use for the client,\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>and one that the client actually gets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-72c26c6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"72c26c6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12344\" src=\"https:\/\/proweb.p.blends.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/Janes-Financial-Virtues-Profile-3-1-1024x629-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"629\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n<p>The same results generate two different reports, but each report is also tailored based on the response that each individual gives to the tool.<br \/><br \/>So the ReportR function was absolutely critical.\u00a0It generates a unique report every time, based on the responses, for each person.<br \/><br \/>And then the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pointerpro.com\/features\/distribution-portal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Distribution Portal<\/a>\u00a0allows the FA to do self-service for sending out the invitations to their own clients, so that they retain that information, which was a key-point: that FA\u2019s that are using the tool, can still retain \u201cownership\u201d of their contacts, there\u2019s no third party involved in the middle to send out the surveys.<br \/><br \/>The FA\u2019s do that themselves and retrieve the results themselves as well. But there\u2019s a whole set of other functions that the tool checks as well as we started diving into what would be required to actually deliver this function to the So I sketched out all the different components of what we would need and started looking at what different tools were out there to serve those different needs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I realized that there are a lot of tools that do a great job at doing one particular aspect. There are tools that handle e.g. membership sites. And it works relatively easily. But it has nothing to do with the eCommerce or survey development component.<\/p>\n<p>And I think that that\u2019s the thing, when I found the tool, I was looking at the broad technology: It wasn\u2019t just about delivering the survey and the reports. It was about what the entire solution was going to need to then take it to market.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I would say we were able to get up and running extremely fast given the different components of what I just laid out.
