You want them to talk about you to their friends, colleagues, and family. You want them to leave rave reviews.<\/p>\n<p>This means asking pointed questions that you can actually follow through on. Questions like \u201cWhat did you like about us?\u201d or \u201cWhat more can we do for you?\u201d are good, and important, of course.<\/p>\n<p>But you also need pointed, actionable questions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow fast was your checkout experience?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIs there something you wish we sold?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow easy is it to shop in our online store?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dave Nevogt from Hubstaff.com\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.huffpost.com\/entry\/12-ways-to-get-customers_b_4441391\">told Huffington Post<\/a>, \u201cThe key to getting feedback from customers is to make sure they understand that you\u2019re actually going to act on the suggestions they give.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This means letting them know before they even see the survey that you want to make the changes they are going to suggest.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t overlook the possibility of using a significant date to reach out to the customer. Once more establishes trust and loyalty. If your consumers know they can talk to you openly, they\u2019ll feel closer to you. Furthermore, who better is there to ask about what your competition is doing or how your customers perceive your competition differs from you. It never hurts to keep an eye on them.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, maybe your lost consumer simply needs to be asked to come back. The candor of asking a question along the lines of \u201cWhat can we do to win you back as a customer?\u201d can be refreshing.\u00a0 At worst, the respondent says nothing.
