But it\u2019s not an easy sell.\u00a0 So we came up with the idea of \u201cwhat is our value proposition?\u201d If somebody is going to spend X amount of dollars to put to us to do our service, what are they gaining by doing that?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>So we build a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/s.resologics.com\/s\/conflict_calculator\">Cost of Conflict Calculator<\/a>\u201d. It\u2019s just a few questions, it takes the data in the background and compares that to industry standards for salary and for costs and curve for replacing people, and other measures.<\/p>\n<p>It gives the person a dollar figure on the other end on what it\u2019s costing them to have that conflict in their team right now.<\/p>\n<p>We already built a calculator back in 2014 on a private server and paid a developer to build it, and it worked great. But over the course of 4-5 years, it needed updating, the tool broke and things had changed.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We decided: \u201cYou know what, let\u2019s go looking for someone who does this, and does it really well!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThrough a bunch of investigations, we found Pointerpro, and we decided to give it a try. Don\u2019t work in a vacuum: collaborate<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\n<div data-id=\"4f28a03\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n<p>Mark: \u201cIt\u2019s not only about the system, but also on how to set up the questionnaires. The Conflict Calculator was done in collaboration with four people, just to get everything we needed on there.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And then the Abrasive Leader Diagnostic was done in collaboration with just two of us, but we\u2019re about to open it to a huge group of coaches that do that work. So we\u2019ll have a much larger collaboration on that one. We expect that the questions will change, that the whole format might change, but at least we have a start, right now.<\/p>\n<p>So that would be another piece of advice: don\u2019t do it in a vacuum.\u00a0 It takes longer to do it in a collaboration, but that team spirit helps a lot.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-id=\"39088b0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n<h2><span style=\"color: #421f3c; font-size: 32px;\">3. We\u2019ll start running additional ads with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.shrm.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Society for Human Resource Management<\/a>, which is the biggest HR group in the United States, to be able to target specific folks within that group.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re going to do press releases in July and August, and we\u2019ll be writing blog posts. We\u2019re just in the midst of going on Forbes, we\u2019re on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/councils.forbes.com\/forbescoachescouncil\">Forbes Coaches Council<\/a>, and we\u2019ll get something published hopefully by the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p>We have many coaches that have speaking engagements, they\u2019ll be talking about this as well.<\/p>\n<p>And of course, we\u2019re talking about
